JLP1721
Need advice on who I should start week 7? Seems like a no brainer but want to be sure. The two QB's I have are Carson Palmer and Mark Brunell Palmer- Has had an MVP like season and has been doing great for me, but he is facing a stiff Pit defense who may calm his #'s down somewhat Brunell- Was a late addition and has been on the bench for me as of late, but this coming week they face a terrible SF team and I think his numbers may be better then Palmer for this week.. Who should I start?
cowboy
That's a tough one... Palmers a stud, but Brunell is going wild... Go crazy and start Brunell this week!!! Please see mine.. http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=119504
LooGie
I'd go w/ Palmer. Even SF is terrible, they pulled some INTs off of Manning and they're coming off the bye w/ a good HC at the helm. I think they'll be improved and while, they'll still get STOMPED i think Brunell ends up throwing a few INTs and misses out on a few big plays. Palmer on the other hand, can handle PIT w/o the INTs and still get the ball to whoever is in his sites. Until he gives you a reason not to start, you start him. see mine, i have a similar problem. http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=119527
zmaniac
I don't think you can go wrong either way. I don't like to sit studs so I'd go with Palmer at home against Pitt. Brunell has been great and he should do fine against SF but if he tanks you'll kick yourself for sitting Palmer.
Whoop That Trick
Go with Brunell...Palmer is playing a good defense in Pittsburgh...Brunell has had a hot hand and will continue to produce nice numbers against a horrible San Fran Defense
timmyk93
No brainer..... If Carson is not hurt or on a bye, he gets the nod! Don't overthink this one..... plus Steelers CB Deshea Townsend (hamstring) is doubtful for week #7 at Cincinnati.
