Flux Capacitor
Carson Palmer vs. PIT or Josh McCown vs. TEN? Standard performance league - should I even consider benching Palmer? Thanks!
Simplex3
You could bench Palmer if your league scores like golf where the lower the score the better. McCown may not even get the nod, Green is dangling Warner right now and you may not know until it's too late.
Darmstro
When it comes to studs, I say you never bench them, regardless of matchup. Yes, if McCown plays he could be a strong play, but it's not worth the risk - or the emotional headache trying to play matchups every week. Keep those decisions to the ones where the players are more marginal. You'll have less heartburn.
LosGatosEnFuegos
It's hard to do so, but if ever there was a time to bench him for McCown, now would be it. Pittsburgh is a tough matchup and TEN has been soft as soft can be against the pass. I'd start McCown, but get ready to slap yourself if Pittsburgh doesn't show up(I think they will though). SLGRAF
Pittsburgh has surrendered four passing TDs this season. Tennessee has surrendered 13. So, if it were me, I would start whomever is starting for Arizona at QB ahead of Palmer this week.
admtahoe
You're asking if you should bench the #1 QB in the league? Sure go ahead.
nighttrain
I guess it comes down to your team's circumstances. You can count on Carson giving solid but not necessarily spectacular numbers. With McCown it's higher risk with potential higher reward (he may not even start).
