crispirons
RB Priest Holmes is expected to be upgraded from questionable to probable, Chiefs Coach Dick Vermeil said. Holmes sustained a helmet-to-helmet blow against the San Diego Chargers on Sunday and had headaches through Tuesday. He underwent tests to see if he suffered a concussion or any other head-related injury. Results were negative.

CaptainHook
c'mon man. Think about it. Priest is coming off a concussion. You have a healthy back fully capable of starting and playing well. You would sit Priest this week. Perhaps you dress him in case of an injury, but I don't think he gets much, if any, action.
Fantasy Jesus
Q&A WITH COACH VERMEIL Nov 04, 2005, 2:27:32 PM Afternoon Q: Can you tell us a little bit about Willie Roaf? http://www.kcchiefs.com/news/2005/11/04/qa..._vermeiloakaft/ D. VERMEIL: “Willie Roaf was in an auto accident this morning. Not injured. The car was injured and has been put on IR for the year – the car that is. He’s home. He’s fine. He’s been checked out by the doctor. It shook him up.” Q: Will he be able to play on Sunday? VERMEIL: “I don’t know yet. It has nothing to do with auto accident. It has everything to do with the hamstring.” Q: Priest Holmes is still not back yet. VERMEIL: “He’s on his way back.” Q: Have you got the report from the doctor? VERMEIL: “I haven’t but Carl (Peterson) and other people have talked to him. It’s doubtful.”

doors27
Larry Johnson will do just fine against the open lane defense that is Oakland this weekend- playing Holmes with a head injury would be just plain stupid. If Holmes plays, gets hit in the head again, he could miss a ton of games- not work the risk. I think Johnson starts and goes wild this weekend.
