Silver Bullets
Roethlisberger is listed as probable @ Indy, but he don't play until Monday night and I have to have my lineup in on Thursday because of the Thanksgiving games. If he plays, I like the matchup, but is he worth the risk? Martin did OK when he replaced Bulger earlier and he plays a weak Houston defense. However, given the way LJ ran all over them Sunday night, and the fact that they were more committed to the run when Martin played before, I'm afraid that they'll try to use SJax more this week. I'm also hearing reports that Martin is not completely healthy either. McMahon is intriguing. I like his matchup against GB and he actually put up decent numbers against a pretty good NYG team. It sounds crazy, but could he be the safest play? Let me know what you think, Roethlisberger, Martin, or McMahon? Thanks!
darin3
Yeah, I have a similar situation (see sig). I initially picked up Martin, as he has a solid matchup @ HOU this week. But then I wanted to cover my butt, as Martin may not be the answer during the playoffs. Check out this post / thread for more info on why I also grabbed McMahon. geaux4LSU
I picked up McMahon - I think St Louis is going to play ball control offense and Philly will continue to open it up plus McMahon showed some nice scrambling ability as well.
