isleseeya
Any good updates or info on Corey Dillon and his status for this Sunday ?
ts
Keep guessing: • 30NOV05 Boston Herald on Corey Dillon: The Pats released reserve TB Mike Cloud yesterday, signaling that either RB Dillon or Kevin Faulk may be ready to return to action after several weeks on the shelf. Dillon, who said last Friday he was pushing for a return Sunday against the Jets, has been battling a high ankle sprain for weeks and hurt his calf on the first play from scrimmage three weeks ago in Miami. His return would be a huge boost to the Pats offense. Corey Dillon (calf) missed more reps Wednesday and is questionable yet again this weekend. He'll very likely be a game time call. NinersIn2006!
My gut says they released Cloud becuase DIllon is close...but I wouldnt play him this week under any circumstances... They are playing the Jets this year, who actually play some decent defense at times...but here is my wish...he comes back, carries the ball 10-15 times for 50-65 yards...and he gets out injury free... Then looming next week (the first week of alot of our fantasy playoffs) Dillon faces a pathetic Bills run defense..
isleseeya
i agree..unless there is overwhelming proof ( fat chance of that with Belichick ) that Dillon is going to play and start , i think he should stay on the bench
wildbluefan
He will stay on my bench until proven he can play at least 3 quarters of a game !
