jmccoughlin
Hi All, Brad Johnson(Min)(v.StL) and Matt Hasselbeck(Sea)(v.SF) are both on my team. Pls read note: I decided to start Brad Johnson for this upcoming week 14 and bench Hasselbeck, because although it appears that Hasselbeck is the better player, he ended up leaving the game early despite his excellent 42-0 game (I imagine so Hasselbeck can remain healthy for the playoffs?) ...not sure if that would happen again this week?? Did I make the right move for this week? Thanks! soulrebel
Tough choice, and I'm probably starting Hasslebeck in my secondary league, but that's because my choices are Bledsoe and Favre, neither of whom inspire confidence in me this week. Given your situation, I'd go with Brad Johnson. Everyone seems to think Hass will have an off week - either because Alexander will have a big day and they won't need to pass, or because they'll be leading by so much, he'll get pulled early. I think last week was something of an abberation with all the defensive TDs by seattle, and Hasslebeck could just as easily throw 2 TDs in the first half against this 9ers defense. SF could decide to stack the box to stop Alexander, and Hass could burn them bigtime ... at least, that's what I'm hoping. With all that said, if I had Brad Johnson, I'd probably roll with him. He just seems to be clicking with his offense right now, so he's probably a safer start. Most of what I said was to convince myself to go with Hass over Favre/Bledsoe ... also a tough choice. Good Luck!
