Chavez
Not previously reported, but not surprising. Man, they're cannin' 'em fast this year.
hoopzfanatic
That must suck as a coach to be getting booted right when the next "savior" is coming in...

Chavez
Seems like Capers will be a good canidate for numerous teams. 1244407 Based on his sterling record, I assume? - 1 winning season in 8 and a .372 winning pct. I think Capers has more than proven he's not head coaching timber.

Chavez
Well, with using coach's winning percentage as the sole crieteria, wouldn't Tice be farily attractive? 1244426 The win pct ISN'T the sole criteria - he lost control of the team in Carolina, and both teams regressed terribly after some initial progress. He can't sustain whatever success he might have. I think Tice will get a chance to rehab his image on somebody's staff for a few years and may get another crack some time down the road - his player's seem to like him and play hard for him, he just needs some seasoning. But after this season in Minny, and his so-so coaching record (c'mon, his BEST year was 9-7), I can't see anyone hiring him right now. ...though given the dearth of candidates, someone may HAVE to.
