Capt Skinman
Anyone get this problem with your computer recently that causes your mouse to click several times when you only click it once? If so, can someone give some advice on how to get rid of it because my antivirus isn't catching it?
Flip_Side
Never heard of that. But I've had spyware crap all over my computer for the past few months, i've ran several programs trying to get rid of this mess, but it won't work. Then today I look and I have several Trojans on my computer, these freaking viruses just won't go away.

Can you switch out your mouse with one that you know works and see if the problem is fixed?

The results are good so far. Thanks Captain Obvious!
Flip_Side
Yeah, and it's the stupid computer......right? 1296892[/snapback] Did I say it was the "stupid computer"? It used to be the "Family Computer" and everyone used it to do who-knows-what, thats when it got messed up. Now it's been given to me for good, and all this crap is on it. When machines won't connect to the network, we always tell people to unplug the cable and plug it back in again or swap it out. It nearly always works. Forget trying to remove viruses and spyware from a PC that's been used by as a "family PC". Do yourself a favor and take the few hours to reload Windows, set it up w/ proper virus & spyware protection (do a few searches in the Tailgate for help) and away you go with a fresh start. You should notice a hugh performace difference after a fresh install....trust me. Also, if it's your PC now....don't share it w/ anyone.
