If you don't care what song plays the shuffle is great, but if you want to find songs the Nano is a better choice. It's a matter of preference. 1301508[/snapback] understand. for JUST working out, however, the shuffle is a perfect choice for me. it is much cheaper and the charge lasts longer (no screen to power). i leave it in my gymbag and only have to charge it once a month. i've created a workout playlist, put it on shuffle, and go with that. overall, if i was going to do anything else with the ipod, then i would go nano as you suggest.
