"Bush said Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, sometimes called the mastermind of the September 11, 2001 attacks, planned to have terrorists hijack an airplane, use shoe bombs to breach the cockpit doors and fly the jet into the building." What? Do they leave the shoes by the door and then blow it, threaten to do it? Blow it while wearing the shoe bombs, throw at the door? More details please. And the size of it. It seemed opportunistic to come out now and say, 'Oh yeah? Well...we thwarted x and such, so there." They have to be based in fact somewhat, but if he said it to justify domestic wiretapping it doesn't make sense as the intel came from Asia. No, I'll tell you what's more realistic: They've slowly infiltrated our country by disguising themselves as cab drivers, gas station owners, franchising Subways and opening mosques. They will next attack civilians, forcing a war in our own country. Guerilla type tactics on our own turf. Now that would be scary and somewhat realistic. They've had nothing to do but plan and think.
