Ursa Majoris
Is that why they moved the Cleveland Browns? And would you be sad if the Rayders and their thug fans packed up and left? 1449154
Whiskey Pimp
I don't know if this is true with LA as big as it is, but heard it's pretty much a college town football wise ala UCLA and the main pro draw is the Lakers??? 1449156 Doesn't it have to be though? Pope Flick
1449189 Ok. Agree. It's obvious to any casual observer that the people of LA don't give a rats ass about having an NFL team there, never mind two. 1449139 This is wrong. Quite so. PantherDave
Doesn't it have to be though? 1449196 True, but didn't USC bring more fans to the coliseum on Saturday's than the Raiders did on Sunday's-curious about that?

Pope Flick
You sure? I think LA holds the record for the most teams leaving. 1449238 We probably also own the record for taking the most teams from other cities, but what does that prove? Maybe it's the owners: Davis and Frontiere weren't liked by the city's folk AT ALL.

PLUS, the NFL has never done well selling out 80,000 (much less 90,000 which is what the Coliseum's capacity is) seat stadiums yet it is common practice at over 20 colleges. tbimm
Los Angeles is a joke. Horrible sports town. 2nd largest city in America and cant support an NFL team? Much less 2 NFL teams. Screw them... 1448427 This was my exact thought when I read the thread title. They couldnt support the 2 they had then couldnt support only 1. What the F is he thinking? Oh yeah and New Orleans is about to, if they already havent, break theyre alltime season ticket sales and we only have about 200,000 people here and most of them dont even speak english!
