Codwagon Posted June 16, 2006 Share Posted June 16, 2006 Not that it matters since this looks like a great cause, but I noticed this in the fine print : The IRS has adopted the position that the $100 ticket price is not deductible as a charitable donation for Federal income tax purposes. Just don't want you to get in any trouble with the feds. My zipcode is not in a valid area either (Texas). They state that the contest is void where prohibited. Might be limited by each state's law.
