KUBJPO01
12 team Keeper League where we can keep Rookies for 3 yrs total. 6 pts for TD's, 6 pts for 100 yds, and 1/2 pt for recepts. Where should Reggie Bush go in this draft? First rounder? I'm 6th pick overall and am seriously considering it. I believe that I'll be looking at Portis, Tiki, Edge, or Rudi Johnson there. A lot of stud RB's off board already due to being keepers (Ron. Brown, Cady, S. Jackson). Absolutely no way Bush will get back to me at 19 overall. Is this worth the investment for the next 3 yrs. or go with safe bet for this year and take Portis or Barber? Thanks in advance for input. godtomsatan
I'd rather have him than the four you listed over the course of the next 3 seasons.

Goldsheet
i'm not sold bush will do much in the nfl - esp year 1. deuce isn't going anywhere, so then you've spend a 1st round pick on a 3rd down / change of pace guy off the bench? no thanks. a 1st round pick should be a lock to produce which i don't think bush is. if you can only keep him 3 years i would stay away from him 1st round. tomfin2000
There's no way I would pass up on Portis at that spot in a keeper league. He should be a consensus Top Five overall pick for years to come. I can see having to think twice with Tiki (age) and Edge (changing teams) but I still think you go with the proven commodities there. One thing that everyone seems to be forgetting is that Bush could be in for a lengthy holdout. Because of his name and the ticket sales he's generated, he's got a ton of leverage. I wouldn't be surprised if he misses most of training camp and the preseason, so it could be the second half of the season before he's a regular contributor, especially if Duece is good to go and Bennett doesn't get traded.
