The Vatican Hitsquad
I am looking for suggestions for incorporatign a Keeper Rule into my 12 team League. We have had one in the past and tossed it, but now it is time to bring it back. Our old rule was: Any player drafted in the 8th round-on, and who starts at least half of the games you play is eligable as a Keeper the next year. You only sacrifice the pick in the rd you originally selected him in. You can keep up to 3 players for a total of 3 years (4 years total). This rule in place prevents owners from selecting rookies and sitting on them without starting them, but also rewards owners for smart picks. The problem was it is kinda conveluted, when you get into tracking the amount of starts each season and what year they were all taken. So, I'm open to hear other owners ideas as to what they do. KUBJPO01
We keep one taken in 10th and on (16 rounds) and a player who is a rookie or 2nd year player; hence you could have this guy for a total of 3 yrs. , as opposed to 4. Pretty close to your suggestions though.
