Arnaz Battle is still gimpy with no proven WR depth behind him, this should also help EJ's odds. Muggsy Posted August 8, 2006 Share Posted August 8, 2006 Johnson has no history with the current 49er coaching staff since he was injured all of last year, meaning Nolan will probably go with his guy(Davis), severely limiting Johnson's touches. He will only be a marginal bye week guy. Although his last healthy season was a good one, so he would probably be OK if he had a change of scenery.
