If you trust that Palmer is good to go, I say you make the deal unless you have 2 rb's already that are the quality of Jordan... Manning is the only certainy at the QB position this year... Is this a keeper league, or did you just draft early? It sounds like a great deal to me. A top 3 QB + a top 8-9 RB (top 5 if it's a PPR league) for the #1 QB. If you absolutely don't need Jordan, you can always parlay him into a top flight WR via a trade. Top 10 RB's fetch a premium on the open market. Not much difference between Palmer and Manning, and you get a starting RB as well. Only risk with Palmer is how well and how quickly he recovers from his injury.
