ShotDoctor
Well it appears I was duped by Joe Gibbs and the rest of the Skins organization as to the severity of Portis' injury. Hearing now he might not return for Houston week two. I'm in a QB/2RB/2WR/TE/K/DEF performance league. My starting running backs are Portis/Westbrook with D. Williams/M.Barber on the bench. In a panic I picked up D. Blaylock since I hear hes getting the nod this week for the Jets. I was offered C. Taylor for Portis straight up the other day, a trade I scoffed at. Now with the reality of this injury, I'm wondering if even a healty Portis sees goal line touches with TJ Duckett now in the mix. What do I do with Portis????? Any advice appreciated. Muggsy
I'd hang on to him for now. The word in D.C. is that the 'Skins feel they are a playoff team and serious contender(for whatever reason) so they want to make sure Portis is OK for the long haul, by not risking him in the opening weekend. Last I heard on local news they were hoping to have him available for Dallas in week2, though he probably won't start that game, he should play. gd74
Always trade when a player's value is at the highest.... not the lowest
broncosn05
I'm sorry but everything I've seen is a good thing. He'll be right back in the game next week.
