Michael Turner - RB, San Diego Chargers 09/18/06

San Diego backup running back Michael "the Burner" Turner certainly lived up to his name on Sunday in the Chargers 40-7 throttling of the Tennessee Titans. Turner, 5'10" 237 pound back from Northern Illinois, carried the ball 13 times for 136 yards which included a 75 yard gallop late in the game. The game was already in hand when Turner took over for Tomlinson to protect the number one runner from any injuries.

Huddle Up: Turner is an intriging prospect this year as he will most likely get 8-10 carries a week even with Ladainian Tomlinson in the lineup. Turner could start for alot of NFL teams as he is capable of being a workhorse back in the NFL. If you are in a keeper league try to trade for or acquire Turner as he is apparently going to be a hot commodity next year for another NFL team. He is also worth adding as running back depth as a No.3 flex back in seasonal formats.

What is meant by "seasonal" formats as is bold faced in the above quote off the priority news? I've seen that terminology a couple times on the Huddle and am not sure what it means.
