wildkat80
We start only a few defensive players a week and for me, obviously, Vilma is a regular. I just picked T. Suggs off waivers though and am thinking of substituting him in for Vilma this week. Given monster game last week and relatively weak CLE line. Thoughts? Rovers
Actually, this week, I'd start Vilma because Buffalo will try to run all day long against the jets, who still are a bit soft at NT, so Vilma could get double digit tackles this week, but I do think there are times you might want to start Suggs over Vilma, but not often. I took some heat for predicting Vilma wouldn't be a top ten LB this year, and right now he's at #22 in a league I'm in that values tackles higher than you scoring system, and is two points lower than Suggs. Suggs may not be on the filed much against Cle, so Vilma would be my choice this week. I'm more surprised that your league lists Suggs as an LB though.... MFL and NFL.com list him as a DE. Vilma's number may improve as he adapts to the 3-4, but I still don't think he's a top ten LB anymore.
wildkat80
Our league is a bit weird on IDP -- people had never done it before so they wanted to start with only a few IDPs per team, so we start one DB and then three other defensive players of any position, which lends itself to LBs of course.
