Vet
I am having a tough time making picks this week--besides this toilet bowl game Miami vs Houston. I love the city of Miami - one of my favorite places on the face of the Earth. But I absolutely HATE the Miami Dolphins. That said, I think they are going to win the AFC East this year. New England's many weaknesses are being exposed, Buffalo and my beloved Jets are decent squads but they are like toddlers learning how to walk right now - they're going to fall and hurt themselves from time to time. I think the Dolphins are going to get their act together and win this division, probably with a 10-6 record, maybe with a 9-7 record and tie-breaker advantages. Granted, this is more a "process of elimination" analysis than a "the Dolphins are good because...." analysis. Call it a gut feeling, but the Phins win the East. Menudo
thing is, I don't know how many times I've licked my chops at the thought of one team playing another and looking for hugh fantasy production, only to be disappointed... Agree 100% - sometimes you can do all the analysis you want with statistics, match-ups, etc.... and it still doesn't work out. This can be a frustrating game sometimes. Savage Beatings
thing is, I don't know how many times I've licked my chops at the thought of one team playing another and looking for hugh fantasy production, only to be disappointed... I find that this usually happens when you have two powerhouse offenses facing each other, and somehow that week both teams' defenses step up and make it a game of field goals. Bring Back Pat!!!
Based on Shell's comments last week about getting Lamont involved in the passing game and the fact that Walter is starting at QB, and they're playing against the Brownies, at home, I think I'm really liking Jordan this week. Looking like a pretty good call so far....
Randall
Walter 8/21 53 yards. The O line must be getting better due to Jordan's yards, but not ready for prime time yet.
