I’m sorry if your league members experienced difficulties

accessing our site on Sunday. Apparently, a hardware

configuration adjustment which should have improved access

time had just the opposite effect on some game servers.

While most people had an enjoyable Sunday of fantasy

football, those fantasy players whose teams resided on the

servers affected by the configuration problem,

unfortunately, endured sporadic league access.

 

I’ve forwarded your individual league to our tech group with

a request that they make sure that every parameter is set

correctly to deliver acceptable access times throughout the

spike of activity that is a football Sunday. I’m confident

that this individual attention from the technical staff will

resolve the issue you’ve experienced in accessing your

league, and again, I regret not being able to provide you a

completely accessible site this weekend.

 

Referencing your request for refund -- I will extend the

MONEY BACK GUARANTEE which I’ve copy/pasted below from the

site by four weeks for your league. If by the end of week 8

you are still unsatisfied, your request for a complete

refund per the Money Back Guarantee will be processed. I’m

sure that this will be unnecessary as I feel the technical

issue your league experienced is in the process of being

resolved completely today.

I'm EXTREMELY disappointed this year with CBS

Sportsline.com. If I remember correctly, we pay a fee to

have cbssportline run our fantasy football. This year has

been pathetic. The website is down half the time on

Sundays. I have 2 separate leagues and on one of my leagues

the page half the day stated, "sorry, we're experiencing

technical difficulties" and I couldn't even get onto the

website. In my other league, the live scoring was updating

at all. You would click on the scores and there would be a

bunch of zeroes.

 

This year half the page is taken up with advertisements. I

see this week GMC covers up half the page. In past weeks

it's been the McDonald's advertisements. Well, if you're

getting all this money for ads and you charge us in addition

to run the site, you think you could invest some of that

money and get some servers so this site could run

efficiently. I will be recommending that all of our leagues

switch over to Yahoo.com or something else because this just

continues to get worse and worse. Great for you. I suppose

you're having difficulties because you have so many clients

that you can't support the demand. Hopefully, you won't

have that problem next year as people will begin to look for

alternative solutions.

 

This is my 3rd email to you and I have not received a

response on any of the prior 2 emails just as I don't

anticipate to receive a reply to this one. I guess your

customer service is right up there on par with your server

bandwidth.

 

Thank you so much for putting a damper on what I otherwise

have truly enjoyed in the past, a fun fantasy football

season.
