msmith379 Posted October 23, 2006 Share Posted October 23, 2006 Well my big money team is looking like I will make the playoffs after pulling off 4 straight wins and going towards a 5th. I started looking at my team and seeing what favorable matchups I will have during the playoffs in weeks 14-16 and I feel pretty good about all positions except for my defense. I know Denver is looking strong right now but still they don't have the greatest matchups going in the playoffs with @SD put up 27 against a decent KC defense at Arrowhead, @ARZ will have mistakes and will play Denver this game but they seem to show up at their new home (at least in the 1st half), and vs CIN has tons of potential but like Denver at home. With looking at these matchups I may need a defense for weeks 14 and 16. So I complied my leagues free agent defenses all their stats and their matchups for the playoffs. What team do you think I should pick up? I am leaning towards, MIN, NE, KC, or BUF Thanks for the advice. slickvick Posted October 23, 2006 Share Posted October 23, 2006 Looking at it now NE looks like your best bet but I would take a wait and see.Week 14 is a ways off. Pick up NE now and once you get closer to week 14 and another defense looks better go that route.If the Denver defense stays healthly I doubt you will have a better play.Denver should be trying to wrap up the AFC West in those weeks and should give you good points.
