SteelerMurf
I see Maroney's roll has pretty much maxed out at less than half the touches and little goalline work. Jamal Lewis is the goalline back and I think will get more carries than Maroney. Am I crazy to prefer Lewis as my #4 RB over Maroney? I can only keep 4 RBS
Vilam51
right now Lewis is the safer pick. The only way Maroney is gonna be better is if the wheels fall off of Dillon.
CowboysDiehard
I'll add too that Minny has the top rated run defense in the league and the Pats have some OL troubles at the moment. I am *this close* to dropping maroney in a league where I can carry only 4 backs, and we can start up to 3. He's definitely an anchor at this point for me. The only thing that stops me is, if Dillon gets hurt, then he'll shine on like a crazy diamond!
firstandgoal
Hard to tell if Maroney is going to get many carries. Lewis is THE MAN and will get the carries as long as they are not getting blown out. Bal is looking to improve their run game and I think Lewis would be a safer bet, but Maroney has more upside now. Later in the season that may change...tough one
Dean.Hughbanks@ngc.com
I'm with you on J. Lewis. Who would have thought that J. Lewis would be a 4th back after leading the league a couple of years ago! Moroney may be the man next season.
supersonic1010
I would have to say Maroney. I think he will break a long one this week. Just a hunch. Jamal Lewis has done nothing for while now! Saints are shifty on the D-line. Musa Smith may get carries too
luke davenport
Maroney has a better chance of putting up big numbers than Lewis who is now a shadow of his former self. The problem will be how many carries. Still I would keep Maroney as the MUCH better athlete. He'll get carries in blowouts, to spell Dillon, dump offs in some passing situations and ofcourse when Dillon goes out with an injury (even if only temporary). The way Dillon plays, he subjects himself to punishment.
