Once put on IR the teamowner that has Tooomer in our league could make a free waiver move and be the first one to make a waiver move. Like I said earlier, our league doesn't give out that free, 1st wiaver move unless it's officially "IR." "Out for the season" just doesn't do. I remember when Rice got hurt years ago when he played for SF. They said he was "out for the season" then was put in to play late in the season. When I first looked at the Giants website I didn't see the "IR". When you said it was officially stated in their website I took a closer look and saw the official IR announcement in real small print right below the photo (the first time I read the paragraph in bigger print).
