CaptainHook
New England Patriots defensive lineman Richard Seymour confirmed Sunday that he had been fined for stepping on the head of Indianapolis Colts tackle Tarik Glenn during a Nov. 5 game. "I was fined," Seymour told the Boston Globe. "I don't try to go back and re-analyze a whole lot of things, but it was a mistake on my part and I own up to it. Even when I did it I said, 'Hey, I shouldn't have done that.' Sometimes the emotions, you don't want to let them get the best of you." A CBS television report earlier Sunday indicated that the fine was for $7,500, though Seymour did not confirm the exact amount. Seymour hasn't spoken with Glenn, but told the Globe he plans to in the future. "Eventually we'll see each other and I'll apologize to him," he said. "It's a game of passion and it definitely has no room for doing stuff that you really don't want to go out and do." The Colts won the game 27-20. Seymour spoke after helping the Patriots beat the Packers 35-0 in Green Bay to end a two-game losing streak, the first time the team had lost consecutive games since falling to the Tennessee Titans and New York Jets in back-to-back weeks in December 2002. link classy! Richard's been hanging out with Rodney too much. Edited November 21, 2006 by CaptainHook

Bill Swerski
I didn't even see that play. It's too bad that somebody didn't step on Tarik Glenn's head this past Sunday. He never fails to kill an important drive with at least one false start penalty.
