Red Storm
My team is in my signature and I am contemplating on making a move to upgrade my QB. The trade I am considering is the following: I give: Colston I get: P Manning This would give me the following line-up: P Manning LT2 Alexander S JAX C Johnson K Johnson (or waiver pick-up) Scobee IDP's Any thoughts on this trade, or would my team better off staying with Grossman and Colston? BearcatTom
Yes and do it fast before the other owner sobers up. Word of advice here, be ready for some back lash from the other owners though. You are getting the #1 Qb for a good WR that is banged up. You might hear some veto cries from other owners. It doesn't mean you shouldn't do it, but just keep it in mind. You might try to move Bell on the back end for another WR, but do this trade fast. You should be close to unstopable afterwards. IMO, the other guy is an idiot. Wolv
I'd make the trade as well, and quick.

Red Storm
We are still in talks, but should I make the deal if he wanted CJ over Colston?
BearcatTom
The way to look at trades is to consider the total impact to your team after the trade. You can't look at just your WRs in this case. What you gain in Manning will outway what you lose in CJ. Even though you will be weaker at WR, you will much stronger at QB, which makes your overall team stronger. I still advise trying to deal Bell for a WR if you do this trade. HowboutthemCowboys
be aware of the fact that after the Colts clinch homefield Peyton will probly see some time on the bench.
