peteteacher2001
From local news station KSDK Channel 5 in St. Louis KSDK - A St. Louis Rams player has been arrested after allegedly stabbing a bar patron in a fight at a popular downtown nightclub. St. Louis police confirm the incident occurred at about 2 a.m. Monday, about 11 hours after the Rams' loss to the Arizona Cardinals Sunday afternoon. According to police, 22-year-old Dominique Byrd, a tight end, was involved in an altercation at the Pepper Lounge Night Club in the 2000 block of Locust Street. Witnesses say Byrd broke a bottle and then stabbed a patron in the face during the argument. Police arrested the 6'2'', 254-pound pro football player and took him into custody. Charges were expected later Monday. Byrd has been on the inactive list most of this season. He was the team's 3rd round draft pick out of U.S.C. Security officials with the Rams organization had no comment about the incident or arrest and said they did not know if they would comment later. KSDK WOW!!! How many now Bengal players did he play with in college?

STL Fan
Dude couldn't win a starting spot over Joe freakin' Klopfenstein. That would tend to put you on edge. Edited December 4, 2006 by STL Fan

Amazing how those USC kids like Byrd and M. Williams look great against PAC-10 teams but not in the NFL.......
johnnyfb
Damn straight. Pete Carroll is really great with training college athletes and buying them apartments, but their skills players (sans QBs and one-week wonder Reggie Bush) are inconsistent and often lacking the skills needed for the NFL. The true players of the Pac-10 are coming out of Cal, UCLA, and WSU this year.
SteelerMurf
Did this guy spend any time with the Bengal organization by chance?
Chargerz
Did this guy spend any time with the Bengal organization by chance? No, but I think I saw him hanging around the Chargers training complex earlier this year!
