CardinalEmpire.com
How do the Huddlers feel about Ladell Betts this weekend against Philly? I don't even know what to expect of this game since Philly is still playing for their playoff lives and Washington may or may not go through the motions while playing for draft position. The Eagles have been sorry against the run all year, giving up over 150 yards of total offense and at least one TD to every single opposing back in the last three weeks. The last time they kept the opponent's runner under that mark? Week 10 against... Ladell Betts and the Redskins (this was the game Portis broke his wrist, though). I'm really think Betts is the play this week, even if Taylor can "go". Huddlers agree. PS - Should I grab Fason and dump Ronnie Brown just in case this is a long-term problem for Taylor? GoNads
Thanks for the response. I definitely like Betts this week. He had a good game last week and they will feed him the rock this week. Saunders will need to run successfully to keep J. Johnson's blitz happy defense off their young QB. Also, RB's have been killing Philly lately. Betts is a great play this week. As for dropping R. Brown, I definitely would NOT drop him. He could be back next week and has two great match-ups vs Buffalo and Jets. I would try and get some more intel with regards to how long he'll be out.
