Donutrun Jellies
Ginn limped to the locker room with about four minutes left in the first quarter and did not return. When the second half began, Ginn was on the sideline, standing on crutches with a black boot on his left foot. Ginn said after the game he was injured in the celebration after his touchdown. What was the deal on this key injury happening during the celebration ... Was this a Gramatica moment (though the reason to celebrate was more obvious for Ginn), a Chad Johnson hot dog moment (with just a biiiiit to much mustard), a UNC Mendoza-esque injury (hurt by one of his own players), or just an unavoidable freak thing not really connected to the celebration? Bushey
That is an amazing shot of his ankle being turned over by his teammates. Why does the house need to be brought down when someone does something? The game is 4 quarters isn't it? I have news for OSU fans. It wouldn't have mattered anyway. OSU was completely destroyed in every facet of the game.
Sgt. Ryan
Im not so sure it wouldnt have mattered anyway. Smith had no where to go with the ball, and Ginn's speed doesnt allow DBs to play him tight or he could pull a steve smith and go over the top at any point. Im not saying this is why they lost, but it certainly didnt help matters. And keep in mind if this game was close, would Leak have pulled a grossman and lost it late. We will never know. Donutrun Jellies
Here you go.......... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/mattivo/Ginn.jpg THAT'S a shame ... even if it didn't make a true difference to the outcome, it made a difference in his experience of a national championship game.
