Gunther
If it has anything to do with playing in two different cities. They're not the only one. The Raiders went as both Oakland and LA. Nope. Think AFL-NFL merger...how did this affect the pro football teams at that point. The Colts were affected by the merger in the same manner as the Browns and Steelers at the time. The Colts played in Super Bowl III (pre-merger) and the first Super Bowl (V, and yes, they beat the Cowboys) held after the merger. I'm trying not to give away the answer here. Gunther
Played in the "Professional Football Championship Game" as a representative of both the AFL/AFC and the NFL/NFC during their history? Correct according to this blurb: "The Colts are the only franchise to have represented both sides of the coin. In SuperBowl III, the Colts were the NFL/NFC Champion. In Super Bowls V and now XLI, the Colts were the AFC Champion. " Up to you to post the next question if you wish.
