godtomsatan
Took my 14 year old nephew to his first concert last night. It was a fun time watching how excited he was to buy a $25 tee-shirt. A tad amateurish in the music category, and certainly not something I listen to in my spare time, but dang! KG & JB can put on a thoroughly entertaining show! And by show I mean musical theater. A loose storyline that weaves their tunes together into a series of set pieces. Like I said, not a hugh fan, but great entertainment. AtomicCEO
I saw them, Ween, and Galactic at Red Rocks. They stole the show. Are they 14-year-old appropriate? I guess they either get "we like to cream jeans" or they don't get it.
godtomsatan
Are they 14-year-old appropriate? He's my sister's kid, not mine. She asked me to take him, as her and my bro-in-law were in town for her birthday weekend and wanted to rid themselves of the kid presumably. Lots of filthy language, and the whole "tripping balls" sequence.......but shoot, like you said, you either get it or you don't.
Ursa Majoris
He's 14, he's heard it all before.
frenzal rhomb
was Brooks Wackerman on drums - that guy is awesome. (skinny blonde dude with thinning hair),
Scourge
I saw them when they came through Philly a couple months back. I went and saw The Pick of Destiny in the theatres twice as well. I am a huge "D" fan. I would say 14 is borderline.. I guess it depends on the 14 year old. "F*ck Her Gently" might be a bit unappropriate, but, it is the "D", so I would say go for it. Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny is coming to DVD February 27th..
detlef
Hell, I'd heard it all when I was 14 and that was over 20 years ago. Guessing in this day and age, that should shock essentially nobody.
alexgaddis
Extremely unfunny....kinda rivals Dane Cook in that department
