Randall
From Rotoworld. Not good timing right now. Falcons LB Demorrio Williams tore his pectoral muscle while lifting weights and could be sidelined as long as five months. It couldn't come at a worse time. Atlanta is thin at linebacker and Williams, their weak-side starter, is entering a contract year. There's a good chance he'll start the year on the PUP list. Fourth-round rookie Stephen Nicholas will line up as the team's starter at May minicamp.

I liked the Nicholas pick and wanted to see him play but not like this.

This is just indicative of how weak and overhyped the Falcons, as an organizaiton, have been over the past few years since making the NFC championship game. When a guy who might not start for two thirds of the league tears a muscle and it changes your draft strategy, you know you got issues. Randall
ESPN- For the second time in a week, the Atlanta Falcons have lost a key defensive starter to an offseason injury that could sideline him several months. This time, it's standout tackle Rod Coleman, who suffered a ruptured right quadriceps that required surgery Monday. The team's starting "under" tackle and a Pro Bowl-caliber defender, Coleman will likely miss the entire offseason training program and training camp and there is a chance he might not be completely rehabilitated by the start of the regular season. The injury, which Coleman acknowledged to several teammates, occurred over the weekend in a boating accident. Jonathan Babineaux would be the favorite to take over.
