Furd Posted June 4, 2007 Author Share Posted June 4, 2007 So, Furd, what movie did you see and how did it work out? (or do I need to pay $500 for that information?) I saw Year of the Dog. It was okay. But, as it involved a woman's life more or less spiraling down the drain after her dog died, I wouldn't describe it as uplifting. Gopher Posted June 4, 2007 Share Posted June 4, 2007 Saw Mr. Brooks (Costner, D. Moore, D. Cook, W. Hurt). Pretty entertaining. I would recommend it. I don't think it's going to win any awards (although I thought the William Hurt character was great), but it was definitely worth the $6 I paid for the matinee showing.
