Gophers Football Sexual Assault case

One of the Minnesota Gopher Football stars (and possibly more than one) is being charged with a felony sexual assault. He just ended his football career, and his buddies might be done too. The idiocy of some athletes never ceases to amaze me.

 

Something that is VERY interesting to me though (and not mentioned in the story unfortunately), is a pretty small detail that could be easily overlooked, and is the most damning piece of evidence against the guy is a video that was taken with a cell phone which had been deleted by the owner, but was able to be recovered by the police quite a while after the fact.

 

Makes me very nervous about some of the stuff that I've deleted from various electronic devices. You think they are gone forever, but not necessarily. I mean if you dress up in a genie outfit and that somehow makes it to the internet... there's simply no getting rid of it. Ever.
