polksalet Posted August 10, 2007 Share Posted August 10, 2007 The hospital is top-tier. However just nw of there is an interesting neighborhood. We were cruising said neighborhood looking for food. We passed by Pizza Patron (Mexcun Pizza chain) to my dismay and settled at Braum's. At Braum's you can buy a bourger for abour a buck fiddy. While Momma and Jr. were exiting the vehicle by a resident Caucasian addict. He asked for a couple of bucks to buy some cheap fod as he can't afford to eat at Braum's. I was busily pulling my Colt .45 from under the seat when he made me and shuffled away. He then made his way to the trash can, ripped the top off of it and literally leaned over and dove in head first looking for grub. We got inside as fast a spossible to escape the weirdness. Well we ordered and received our food and it was very good. I went back in line to order some ice cream and a black woman with a BEARD broke in line in front of me. They were just in the paper because now they are also selling phone cards so people can call their families back in Mexico. There are talked about because of the peso thing all the time. Bunch of those here in Austin. I think they just have pepperoni... just go in and pick one up, no waiting. And they're cheap. Too many good pizza options here, though, to ever try it.
