Bill Swerski Posted September 6, 2007 Share Posted September 6, 2007 I'd imagine that he'll probably be used more later in the season, when he's more familiar with the offense. With a rookie LT, it's also possible that they'll run a lot of two-TE sets, where the weak-side guy (probably Utect) will stay in to help block. And to complicate matters further, Dallas Clark was used in the slot quite a bit in the pre-season. I'm sure that Gonzalez will get his touches this year, but I agree with WW's wait-and-see approach.
