CiminoUM5
Here's my squad in a 10 team league (start 1 qb, 2 rb, 2 wr, 1 w/r): QB - Kitna, Leinart, Grossman RB - Westbrook, McGahee, B. Jackson, Betts, Chris Henry WR - Wayne, Roy Williams, Driver, Jennings, Curtis TE - Winslow, Crumpler K - Gotkowski D - Baltimore ....and the scoring system is as follows: Completions (.5) Passing Yards (30 yards per point; 3 points at 325 yards) Passing Touchdowns (6) Interceptions (-2) Rushing Yards (10 yards per point; 3 points at 125 yards) Rushing Touchdowns (6) Receptions (1) Reception Yards (10 yards per point; 3 points at 110 yards) Reception Touchdowns (6) So, there's a team in my league that just put up Palmer and Romo on the trading block and he's looking for a wideout in return. Clearly, my team's biggest strength is at wideout and while I think playing Kitna/Leinart depending on the matchups each week will be ok, QB's the weak link on my team. Do I pursue Palmer? I know this guy and I don't think he's not brightest football mind out there, so I figure the time to pounce on this is now, on the heels of Romo's huge game and Carson's just solid showing against a tough D. Is the upgrade at QB worth the downgrade at wideout? Who should I offer? He's also got Terry Glenn who I was thinking about nabbing if possible....perhaps Wayne/Leinart for Palmer/Glenn? jchron10
I really don't see that much upgrade between Kitna and Palmer. And getting rid of Wayne would not be an option at all. I think you would hurt your team more than help it with this deal.
Doc Holliday
How long is Glenn out? Either way I would not give up Wayne and Leinart for Palmer and Glenn.
Big Country
If you make a deal, I would go no higher than Driver in the deal. You're sitting pretty as it is now, so, if anything I would probably look for opportunities to upgrade at RB.
