DalCowboys08
Alright, so a team I have taken over is 0-5. I have both LT and Shaun Alexander. One of the other owners is looking at making a run and has thrown me an offer for LT. The current offer stands at Brandon Jackson and Marques Colston. The owner has admitted it's a low-ball offer and that it's just a rough start to negotiations. He has mentioned the possibilty of throwing in Merriman and possibly a future pick. I am looking ahead to next year, realistically, and the owner thinks he has a real shot if he picks up LT from me. Basically it comes down to is LT gonna bounce back and be a stud for me next year or has he lost that high gear. He's being caught from behind on runs where in the past nobody would have caught him. Should I get his high market value for him now or ride it out?

Not sure why you are 0-5 your team isn't that bad unless this is a 8 team league. As for the offer it is really a low baller. Jackson may never take over in GB and and Colston is really struggling. I would think you could get a much better back for LT and all the other stuff your getting/possibly getting.
DalCowboys08
I've ended negotiations. He has Deshawn Wynn, which is really his only back that interests me, and as I told him, I don't think I am going to want to give up LT in a trade involving Wynn. It baffles me that I am 0-5 in that league as well.
MonkeyOne
Keep LT. I have him in a dynasty and hope to get at least another year or two before trading him out high.
SpinalTapp
Doesn't seem like much of an offer to me. LT is still going to end up a top 10 fantasy producer. Colston will struggle to end up a top 25 WR and Wynn/Jackson will struggle to end up top 25 RBs. You are getting fleeced. Sit tight till a real offer comes along. I am not sure I would trade Cedric Benson for that same package - seriously.
