loaf
I'm first on the Wire and have been offered a player for my spot...nothing about it in the rules. Is this something that's done?

MrTed46
I have done it in the past.
Big Country
I've seen it done before. I have also played in leagues where this is forbidden in the rules, but, short of that IMO a waiver spot can be considered a tradeable commodity just like players and future draft picks or, in leagues that do bidding, waiver cash, etc.
detlef
Pretty simple to get around if it is against the rules. Ask the guy who he wants to pick up, pick the dude up and trade him for the player you were gonna get for the waiver spot. Nothing wrong with that.
