Grits and Shins
This week a team in my local league lost by .64 points when Favre threw his last interception Sunday night. LAST week the same team lost by .66 points when Shayne Graham could only come up with 9 points Monday night. Two weeks in a row, two losses by a margin of less than 3 quarters of a point. Two losses by a combined 1.3 points. That is hard to take.
Ursa Majoris
On the other side of the coin, an owner in my local won by one last week (no decimal scoring) on that garbage time Moss TD for NE. This week he had lost by one when the Cowboys recovered the onside kick and Romo passed for enough yards to send him into a tie - and he had the tiebreaker (highest scoring bench player). He won the two games by a total of one to retain an unbeaten 5-0 record. Lucky or what?

It sucks to be the guy that lost the tie-breaker. I see no reason to break ties in the regular season, no reason to penalize one owner because the other owner left a better player on their bench. Agreed but I should point out that it's highest scoring nominated bench player - each owner nominates the player to be used as the tiebreaker. I do agree on the ties though. I don't see a problem with regular season ties at all.
