Skippy
I really know nothing about these players but my soon to be 11-year-old would like one for her birthday. We are going to do the birthday thing on Saturday so I would like to purchase this thing by Friday night. I don’t need the best with all the bells and whistles and in fact I think that would be a waste in this case. I just want something that does the mp3 thing and does it easily. I would like to be able to transfer music that I already have on my computer as well as music that I have on CD’s to the new player. The only experience that I have with these things is that about two or three years ago I bought two, (don’t remember the brand), for my older kids and I could not get the damn things to sync with my computer. I was able to get them to sync with my notebook but I don’t want that to be the music transfer device. Any recommendations for something like an Ipod that is a decent player but not really a top of the line, (expensive) model would be much appreciated. Big Country
Just get an Ipod Nano. I think you can get them for around $200, maybe a little less or more depending on the size you go with. I've never had any problem putting music on from my computer and importing CDs onto a computer then to the Ipod is a snap.
