This week, Morten Andersen of the Falcons, enters the game at Carolina with 2496 points.

He's in his 25th year of service in the NFL at the ripe young age of 47.

The guy deserves some props!

:D

NFL Players Born in Denmark

Andersen, Morten

Nielsen, Hans

---

Most field goals attempted (career) - 698, he'll extend this to a nice 700 plateau.

---

Most seasons - 25 (1st place: George Blanda, 26)

Most seasons, 100 or more points - 14 (tied with Jason Elam and Gary Anderson) - 51 so far this year, right on pace.

Good luck to him, I always root for the man.

Interestingly, if you look at his percentages over the years, he has seems to be in the most consistent years of his career.

Onto to 3000!!

this is such an amazing story. A fairy tale even. The way he came back to get signed, then broke the all time points score, and now this. It's just incredible.

I get sad when I see him boot a 47 yarder, dead center, only for it to fall about 2 yards short :D I hope they keep him in the NFL just for the sake of saying he's on a team. Just for extra points and rediculously close FG's, because he deserves to be there until he chooses not to be!

And I hate the Falcons more than the IRS!
