Kansas State 2000
ESPN Story "Beasley had 32 points and a Big 12 Conference-record 24 rebounds in his debut at Kansas State, leading the 25th-ranked Wildcats to a 94-63 victory over Sacramento State on Friday night. Beasley, the most highly touted recruit in school history and rated the nation's No. 1 incoming freshman by Rivals.com, broke the Big 12 mark of 23 rebounds set by Kevin Durant, who starred at Texas as a freshman last season, and Kansas' Nick Collison." This guy is very good ... he set multiple records in his FIRST game. He may be the #1 pick in next years draft.
Kansas State 2000
Now "Move Over Carmelo Anthony!" B-Easy just tied the all time freshman record held by Anthony for most double doubles in a season by a freshman at 22. Imagine is KSU could play worth a crap on the road. Nuff said. He is a great player in a bad conference...no doubt the second best player in the country.
