ice-pick
Shaub @ TEN Kitna @ MIN leaning Kitna
BirdmanJones
Same "problem" and same leaning... Kitna goes to the air to stay in game?
keithcho11
i agree, go with kitna. MIN pass defense is not as good as eli made them look last week
ice-pick
Anyone else want to weigh in on this one? Help tip the scales a little?
gowdemon
Same boat. I'm going Kitna.
Judge Smales
I'm going with Kitna over Brees, and I'd play over Schaub as well. However I need to swing for the fences this week as it's win and I'm in, so I don't really have a choice.
MTSuper7
MIN pass defense is tough at home. I think I read somewhere that they've only given up 4 TD passes all year at home. Kitna is getting pummeled too. I'd probably go Schaub, especially if Haynesworth starts for TEN to kill the Texans' running game.
ice-pick
Someone else just started the same thread. I put this in there as well I thought a closer look at some stats would help me decide. WRONG!! THere is something in me that says Kitna will choke when he should shine. Also, there is some hope of passing against TEN with Palmer lighting TEN up for yardage and scores 278 yrds 3 passing TDs and one INT to be exact. MIN allowed 234 yrds 1 TD and yes 4 INTS against the NYG (all passing stats) On the year MIN D has 26 sacks 13 INTs 11 Fum and avg 283 yrds of passing per game and rank 31st against the pass. Last game againt DET Minny D got 4 sacks (good chance of that this week) 3 INTS (this is Kitna we are talking about) and 2 fumbles. With that being said, DET still got 359 yrds of passing on them. Hmmmmmmm TEN D has 24 sacks 14INTs 9 fum and avg 200yrds passing for 7th against the pass. If you look at who they have played they don't really play passing teams or teams that pass well. Last time against TEX they has 2 sacks, 3 INTS 3 Fum and gave up 294 yrds passing. Schaub got knocked out of the game and SAGE came off the bench and threw and threw and threw for 4 scores. Unfortunately TEN kicked and kicked and kicked 8 FGs to win the game. Still looks to close to call Any thoughts???
