With 8:52 to go in the 4th quarter the falcons scored a TD to make the score 31-13

at that point i figured that the Falcons would go for 2 to make it a 16 point game(2 possessions)

but they didn't....Why? I know that its difficult from a % standpoint to convert 2 pt conversions let alone

3 in a row but seriously why would Petrino not go for 2 in that instance?

 

and no it didnt cost me a win or anything like that...just curiuos is all

Because he knew that had he been successful, I would have won the watering hole's weekly pick'em (I needed 49 total points to win).
