ok, it's not going to change history, but it wasn't as bad as i would have thought. my 8-year old was fired up about this and despite all my attempts and excuses, i ended up in the theater anyway. i must admit that it was bearable, and bryan loved it. just watching him laugh like crazy made the thing worth it. the 12 year old had his attention held as well (which is a small miracle). the chick is hot, but too lifeless. the record exec guy is a good swarmy character and i like jason lee. the munks themselves are well done and cute for little kids. two stars and could have been much worse.

i have seen only a few pretty bad movies when going with my kids to the theater but more often than not i have enjoyed the films

Saw it tonight and agree with ton. 13 and 9 yr old really liked it. Was'nt as bad as I thought it would be.
