Superclydes
I know this is probably a bit on the wierd side, but I think we should propose a fan walkout of our own. We are the main sponsors of MLB!! We have no say as to what the players or owners are going to do. So I propose the following. Next weekend the 24 and 25 of August, we show our disgust at the greed of both the owners and players and hold a fan walkout. That means no going to games, not watching them on TV, not "watching" them on the internet. See if that will get their attention. Once we have them under our power, set a salary cap and make them live by it. We shouldn't have to put up with this. angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry
Waterbury Mayor
That would be great!! I would do it!! The one's you will have trouble with are the season ticket holders!

Atlanta Cracker
The problem is, all they have to do is cut prices WAAAAAAAY down and the silly old rednecks will come out in droves. (at least in Atlanta)
Mick
I think the best thing we can do as fans is let the sponsors know we will boycott them if there is a strike and they continue to sponsor MLB. There are a lot more fans who buy sponsors product than go to the games. If just 5 or 10% of fans boycotted a product you can be bet it would be felt by the company. They have the clout with MLB that we do not.
