Teams with excellent guard play ALWAYS do well in the tournament, and the 'Horns have two of the nation's best. They are giving KU - one of the most well-balanced teams in the nation - fits in Austin. Teams with good guards have been giving KU troubles all season and tonight is no exception. I think UT being 88-6 at home over the past 6 years (I think that's the right stat) may have had something to do with that. Man, what an ending. Great game by the Longhorns. Yeah, great ending. Those two teams could vie for the Big 12 tournament title, unless K-State continues their strong play. And just to reiterate, watch out for the 'Horns come tournament time. Outstanding guards, and their frontcourt is a bit underrated. They'll probably get a 3 or 4 seed and I wouldn't be shocked to see them in the Elite 8 or even in the finals.
