Pope Flick Posted February 20, 2008 Share Posted February 20, 2008 There's also a bit of arrogant assumption here that just because WE have the embargo on Cuba, and hence we don't have access to verification, that other countries (in fact, most other countries) do NOT have an embargo against them and are in a position to verify their claims. Again, why would the CIA recognize this? Wouldn't it be more prudent to lie about it even if it were true but unverifiable?
