Kid Cid
ESPN 4 Years, $21 Million. Guess winning a Superbowl erases everyone's doubts towards you? You can't argue with success. You hire a coach with the ultimate goal of winning the Super Bowl. Well, Coughlin came through on his end of the bargain. Why would you kick him out if you know he can do it with this team? kpholmes
Why would you kick him out if you know he can do it with this team? Brian Billick and John Gruden are recent example... Both of them obviously made amazing things happen with their team to win, but the word "struggle" has been an understatement for them since. Who out there would be a better HC for the Giants than Coughlin right now?
Timmypg
Coughlin's made the playoffs 3 straight years, the players like him now, & he won a Super Bowl. What more do you want?

Outshined
Don't forget the success that Coughlin Jacksonville as well. He almost took a fairly new expansion team to the superbowl. He is obviously doing something right and its not just dumb luck. In my opinion, winning 11 straight road games can be credited to coach.
